First Time's a Charm

This is it!! Mark it in the history books. Lacy finally broke down and joined the blogger world. I must admit I have always been intrigued by blogging, but quite honestly I never had the consistency to actually have my own. This weekend Eddy and I spent some time looking through one of his "memory tubs" as I like to call them. We had a great time looking through old greeting cards, ironic notes that I had wrote him when I was a freshman in high school, old football programs and ticket stubs, and other tidbits from his past. One item that I can honestly say I was jealous of was a calendar Eddy had kept. In this calendar he wrote a little note about each day - what he had done, how he had felt, who he had met. I am sure at the time this task felt pretty monotonous, but now it is a true gift. Being able to turn the pages of that calendar and relive the emotions, the events, the pain, the happiness, the lessons learned, is something that he can forever cherish. So...since I can't go back and make my own calendar, and if I did I am sure I would leave out quite a few unattractive parts, I have decided to make this blog mine and Eddy's own calendar of past events. It will be something exciting to look back on, and it will be so fun to relive what I am sure we will think of as the glory days! The best part? We get to share it with everyone!!
